Beats to Black Truffles:
Gippsland’s Most Exclusive Winter Event Series

what can you expect on the day

  • An event series celebrating the very best of Gippsland’s food and wine.
Created in collaboration with some of the region’s finest producers, each gathering showcases Frankie & Fender Truffles exactly as we believe they should be enjoyed - shared with great company, paired with exceptional local wines, and woven through thoughtfully crafted dishes. Add sweeping views, a roaring fire, and vinyl spinning in the background, and you have the perfect setting to savour the season.

  • The team at Trulli are bringing their show on the road, serving up truffle inspired Italian dishes from a collection of Gippslands finest produce all afternoon. The team aim to show our guests the full range of what you can achieve with quality truffle in the kitchen.

  • Depends on the date. But the series would not be complete without Gippsland’s finest wine producers.

July 18:  The Wine Farm (Koonwarra)

    August 1: Fleet Wines (Leongatha)

August 15:  Corner Inlet Vineyard (Corner Inlet)

In addition there will be a selection of Gippsland beers and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase on the day.

  • Begin with a welcome drink before joining Fender for a guided truffle hunt through the Frankie & Fender truffière.

Once the day’s treasures have been unearthed, return to our event space and settle in. Vinyl spins in the background, fires crackle, and truffle-inspired canapés make their way around the room.

You’ll be guided through a tasting by our featured wine partner, discovering the stories and flavours behind each wine. At the conclusion of the tasting, select your favourite drop to enjoy as your second included glass.

Additional beverages will be available for purchase from the bar throughout the remainder of the event.

  • Truffle foraging is a wintery pursuit! And our beautiful Truffiere is in Gippsland.

So… rain, wind and cold could be on the cards.

We recommend bringing warm and waterproof clothes, gumboots and an umbrella. By all means bring a change of coat and shoes for when you settle into our event space later in the day.
